Common questions

Framing contractor FAQ

What size projects does Sophava frame?

Jobs large and small — from 8×10 sheds, additions and ADUs up to projects as large as 120,000 sq ft, including multifamily and multi-story wood-frame construction.

Where is Sophava located, and what areas do you serve?

Sophava is a service-area framing contractor serving Greater Boston, Eastern Massachusetts, northeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Meetings are available by appointment, and framing crews travel directly to project sites.

Do you provide framing labor only, or materials too?

Both. You can engage Sophava for framing labor only, or for turnkey labor and materials — including trusses and pre-fabricated wall panels, delivered.

Can you supply wall panels and trusses?

Yes. We design and pre-fabricate wall panels at our own facility, and trusses are designed, fabricated and delivered — coordinated to avoid design conflicts.

What plans do you need to price a project?

Architectural and structural drawings in PDF or DWG work best. Share what you have along with the location and target schedule, and we'll tell you if anything else is needed.

How far in advance should we book a crew?

The sooner we see the plans and schedule, the better we can align crew availability — but reach out anytime a project is coming up or a schedule has shifted.
